Aaker next focused his career on film, appearing in "Arena" (1953), the drama "Hondo" (1953) with John Wayne and "Jeopardy" (1953) with Barbara Stanwyck. He also appeared in the Ann Sheridan comedy adventure "Take Me to Town" (1953) and the Audie Murphy remake "Destry" (1954). Later in his career, Aaker acted in the drama "Desperate Search" (1957) with Howard Keel.
